Chaplin

Mike Chaplin is currently a Business Systems Analyst at MEMIC, a worker’s compensation insurance company based in Portland, Maine.  Mike began his career in IT at Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2012 as a software developer, but decided to pursue a more business-oriented role within IT as an analyst in 2014.   Since then, Mike has served as a Business Analyst within several different areas at Liberty Mutual, and moved to MEMIC in February of 2018 to join the newly formed team of Business Analysts there.

Mike, as well as Bob McKillop (who now sits as a Vice President on the PMI Chapter), began the Maine Business Analyst Community (MEBAC) under the umbrella of the PMI Maine Chapter.  This community seeks to bring Business Analyst professionals in Maine together to learn and develop their skillsets in the ever-evolving landscape of requirements gathering and management.  Mike serves as the director of this MEBAC community, and is looking to grow in tandem with PMI International’s Business Analysis & Requirements Program.
