We will be looking at some lessons learned from both large and small projects, to see where they occur in the PM process. Discussion will follow about how we can anticipate and react to any issues involved. Mistakes are great and success is awesome - you really cannot have one without the other!
We will look at four scenarios: Two large organizations, one with long term view and one with shorter projects: two smaller organizations, one project affecting the whole organization and one with a more focused project.
Together, we will work to determine where the “lessons learned” should be considered in the PM processes. Bring your ideas, lessons learned and stories to share!
Dennis has forty years project management experience in federal procurement, banking, manufacturing and training. He has taught Systems Acquisition at the Armed Forces Institute of Technology, Economics and Communication at Maine Maritime Academy and Project Management at many of the General Dynamics Divisions.
