Steve has been associated with PMI since the 1970’s. He joined in Massachusetts in 1972 and transferred his membership to Maine in 1987. He has served as a chapter Education Director, Programs Manager, Marketing VP, and Chapter President. His interest in the association is: to meet new people, to learn new things, and to give back to the younger community a life changing skill.
The PMI Chapter accomplishments he is most proud of are: the starting the Chapter’s educational program, the creation of a chapter library, and the design of a multi-location chapter. All of these innovations were done as collaborations with several other members. Not all of his ideas were successful (the multi location chapter flopped), but most often he and others find that success springs from failure. His education includes: a BBA, MUA, certificates in transportation and technology management, and the completion of several courses for an instructional design doctor’s degree. He currently works for Husson University as a course developer/marketing guru and for Twenty Eighty Strategy Execution (www.strategyex.com) Consulting*, responsible for consulting and training support for companies like Met life, Cigna, Motorola and UBS.
