May Event: Architecture and Engineering Project Management Practice - Global Perspectives, Local Impact
Architecture and Engineering Project Management Practice - Global Perspectives, Local Impact
Presented by Craig Piper of SMRT
Please join PMI-Maine on Tuesday, May 16 th, for a discussion about the variety and uniqueness of Project Management at an architecture and engineering firm. Defining, scoping, programming, designing, and permitting through construction in today’s building design and construction industry has evolved from a fierce battle where players start and end in their respective corners to a more integrated design process with all parties aligned for the project good with a win-win-win for the owner, design team, and contractor.
SMRT, Maine’s largest architecture and engineering firm’s project management practice has had to evolve to anticipate both company and staff and client and partner needs. This program will share how solid project management tools translate across industries highlighting:
- How we work
- Commitment to quality
- Facilitation for success
- Delivery alternatives
- Sustainable by design
The program and Q&A session will be led by SMRT Senior Principal and Chair of the Board, Craig Piper.
