Election Candidates: PMI Maine Chapter Board of Directors for 2023

We have our list of nominated and vetted candidates for this month's election! The ballot opens on Monday, November 7, 2022. All active PMI Maine Chapter members will receive an electronic ballot via email.

This year's candidates are (in alphabetical order):

 

Meagan Adams, PMP, CSM

Adams PMIMaine

Meagan has 8+ years of experience working in project management, including quality management and training, clinical optimization, system replacement, contract management, new hospital construction/operationalization, process streamlining, and revenue cycle, research, lab, clinic, imaging, radiation oncology, and facilities operations.  She has a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and a master’s degree in educational leadership. She is a licensed Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master.  She is also a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative, a Certified Specialist of Physician Practice Management, and a Certified Specialist Business Intelligence.  In 2021, Meagan led Moffitt Cancer Center’s Enterprise Project Management office to apply for and subsequently win the Project Management Institute’s global Project Management Office of the Year award.  She enjoys hiking, swimming, and writing.

 

Stephen Molina

Stephen joined the PMI Maine Chapter in March 2021 and is a current volunteer, supporting the initiatives of the Director of Marketing and Social Media. Stephen currently works as a Project Manager at Tyler Technologies, the largest software company solely focused on the public sector. He works in the Transportation group, focusing on work with school districts and contractors all around the country and in Canada. Stephen manages projects that implement routing, field trip, dispatch, and parent applications. He also assists with the implementation of GPS and tablet solutions, along with student ridership cards.

Prior to joining Tyler, he worked as a Sales Support Manager for DC Group based in Minneapolis, and in his role he worked with the sales team on RFP and RFQ for government contracts, as well as securing agreements with some large clients such as Philips, GE, JLL, and FedEx. Prior to this role, Stephen worked in professional basketball for three different NBA organizations, where he filled various roles in the video analysis department, working his way from Video Intern to Head Video Coordinator, where he managed the department.

Stephen was born, raised, and currently lives in Portland, Maine. He graduated from Marquette University in 2015, where he also served as a Student Manager for the Men's Basketball program, working with coaches such as Buzz Williams and Steve Wojciechowski. During his time with the program, they won a Big East Championship and made it to the Elite 8. After his career in pro basketball, Stephen accepted his position at Tyler and moved home. In addition to his volunteer work with PMI Maine, Stephen coaches boys basketball at Cheverus High School, and volunteers with his father at Meals on Wheels.

Chris Orr

Orr PMIMaine

Chris Orr is a Deputy Program Manager with AECOM’s Disaster Resilience Solutions group, which provides disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation consulting and support to public and private sector clients. Chris has over 21 years of project and task order management; resource management; training development and delivery; internal, external, and crisis communications; stakeholder engagement; and disaster response and recovery experience, to include providing real-time situational awareness analysis and reporting to military and civilian leaders in the US and abroad, supporting federal and disaster response and recovery programs, and conducting regional and local level emergency response and preparedness exercises for government and defense agencies.

Chris retired from the U.S. Army in 2005 after a career as a Drum Section Leader and Operations and Training Manager for the U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland University College and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In his spare time, Chris enjoys playing music, golf, and cribbage with varying levels of facility. He is a crossword puzzle enthusiast, an Oxford comma defender, a loyal Red Sox fan, a proud father of three, and a lucky husband to a very patient wife.
